Webcam EHGG
Hi,
With very great pride we present to you a beautiful new project which needs to be tested first....
Thanks to the very hard work of Hike, Sventek, Doro and BerendBotje we offer you now a webcam installed at EHGG with a beautiful view on the thresshold of the runway 23 of EHGG. Also the other team members helped in this project and a special thanks goes to member Pan-Pan.
This project was only possible by the kindness of the NNAC (Noord Nederlandse Aero Club) who where willing to help us hosting first of all the 3 live audio feeds we have for a while now and they agreed on installing a webcam as well. And one thing which we are busy with right now is installing another computer which will provide a live radar stream of the EHGG area..... We don't have a clue how to thank the NNAC, please take a visit to their website and keep in mind that thanks to those kind people YOU can enjoy almost everything at EHGG:
OK, now for our special project..... you can see the webcam by clicking the link below (a perma link will be installed somewhere on the left in the next couple of days). Keep in mind that this is only a Bèta phase... we need to explore how stable the media server is, what the bandwith is doing, etc.. etc.. It might not work (yet) on every platform but we are still working on it and when we know certain things, the webcam will be for Platinum members only (this rank will be introduced later). For the moment EVERYBODY can see the webcam... temporarely. We hope it will work for a few days/weeks but if it doesn't, you can be sure of it that we are working on it to get it stable.
