Goldmember Movie

ATCBOX is growing and growing and the server we bought last year with the donations is not enough anymore. Time to upgrade again and Hike ordered a new Dual Xeon server this week which will be dedicated for ATCBOX again. Within a few weeks we hope to move this site to this new server which allows us to continue for hopefully a long time again.

The (dedicated) server on which ATCBOX is now will be used as a dedicated database server in future so the database (which now reaches it's limits sometimes when it's busy causing especially the forum to be slow) will be seperate from the site which will result in a much faster site.

We received already a lot of donations which we are very thankfull for and now you know where your money is used for.... ATCBOX (of course).

We still can use donations because the money we have (had) available is not enough to cover the costs of this new server. Of course I'll donate the rest for now but we also need some money to cover the bandwith usage which is enormous on this site with all the streams, downloads etc.. etc.... which is too much to handle alone.

So if you are not yet a goldmember, please consider helping us by reading this story and hopefully I'll see your email coming.

MOVIE

As you can see there is a new movie now which was made last week by Sventek who joined me in the cockpit: Flight from Copenhagen to Rotterdam.

The 'outside view' movie can be found in the download section (Movies Administrator Didimon -> Didimon Rotterdam 24) but the new Goldmember movie is of much better (DVD) quality and filmed from the inside which gives you a very good idea how things work in the cockpit. I think it's really worth a donation hehehe ;-)
