B747-400 cockpit shadow

Member Richbran submitted a very nice movie.
This is his story:

Filmed from B747-400, Wednesday dec 22nd 2006, during intercept and final of RWY 36C at SPL.
Shadow therefore moves from side to front of cockpit.
Top of the mist layer was very sharply ending at exactly 2000’, our initial app alt, giving the effect of low level flying.
Speed was around 210-180 kts then, clearly visible at the fog parts flashing by.
Low sun angle provided optimum shadow forming, to be seen from cockpit.
Notice the light effect around the cockpit, sometimes referred to as the “glory” effect.
See how clear the weather above us is, only a 600m thick layer blocks it from seeing it…
